Once you’ve been tagged, you have to write a note with 16 random things, shortcomings, facts, habits or goals about you. You must tag 16 other people.
Brita's P.S. This is a note I wrote on facebook. I'm tagging whoever wants to do it.
1. I just spent the last hour learning how to exotic dance with my best friend and my little (who are my roommates coincidentally).
2. I get pissed off when girls are judgmental about how I dress because a) I know how to balance revealing clothing not to look slutty and b) they're usually flat-chested and don't know how hard it is to find modest tops that fit.
3. Theoretically, I wouldn't give up my academic and career goals for a guy...but sometimes I wonder if I just haven't met the right guy.
4. I love someone who doesn't know it. But I think everyone else has figured it out.
5. I could happily live in France the rest of my life.
6. When I'm stressed out, I pick my scalp until it bleeds.
7. Queen Elizabeth I is my idol. I want to write my dissertation on the dichotomy of her and the average 16th c. English woman and how Elizabeth manipulated ideas about female weakness for her own power.
8. I want to learn Greek so I can read the New Testament in its original language, as opposed to a patriarchal English translation.
9. I miss the love of my life and my favorite step-cousin so much it hurts. (These are two separate people, fyi).
10. If polygamy were legal, I would marry all of the Belltower Boys. I'm kinda overcome with lust everytime they sing.
11. I wonder if I'm missing out on part of the feminist movement by being straight.
12. (To copy my cousin again), I honestly, truly wish I went to Hogwarts.
13. I've never attended a fraternity function, and the only invitation I ever received was to the Thanksgiving dinner, not a dance. (And yes, this hurts).
14. I have a really high self body image, but I would kill to have a flat stomach, which will never happen, since it was still soft and round when I weighed 77 pounds (at age 15...I was really sick).
15. I have a love/hate relationship with Crohn's. Having the disease has made me a stronger and more empathetic person. I am very nonchalant about it in conversation, and I'm more than happy to answer questions about it. But I still sometimes get very depressed about. I go through periods of time when I hate my body because of Crohn's. I worry about future health complications, especially during pregnancy. If I were to pass it on to my child, I would feel guilty the rest of my life.
16. What I like best about myself is that I like everyone. And everyone is nice to me. I don't know why this is. But I sincerely like almost everyone I've ever met. And I can think of only two or three specific examples when people haven't been really nice to me.
