We were comparing savings the other day, I've amassed unusual amount of moolah :p Not that I'm rich, but I really can't find anything to spend on... I live a simple life, and yes, I'm not really normal. But really, I honestly tried to spend, but I can't think of anything.
Food?
Does it taste nice eaten alone?
Travel?
I can't... No visa.
Gadgets?
Well... I have my fair share, but I don't renew my phone, I just have the gaming stuff :p
Entertainment?
Going out in the middle of the winter to watch movies whilst you can download and watch it at home? Nah.
Drinks?
Err... Clubs are too noisy, and drinking alone in a bar is no difference than drinking at home.
Friends?
Yeah dinners doesn't really cost that much.
Spa? New haircut? Grooming?
The appointment system is too annoying to try and fit to my random rota. Plus by the time I finish work they're closed, and they don't open on weekends.
Clothes?
One can only have so much clothes, especially since I'm wearing scrubs all day. This is not London. One doesn't need to be stylish to walk around.
Car?
No licence...
House?
What? and live alone in it? No way. Plus we move around too much here. And I can't afford one :p
I ended up spending on really weird stuff. Mostly buying 'dreams'. Like a violin I've never have the time to take lessons for. Or picture books, so I can imagine living an alternate life.
I miss singapore. I can spend money on good food there :( And really random objects of fancy. Like cute stationaries.
I guess it is really family building fund. If no family? Err... looking after parents fund. It'll be nice to tell my parents to not bring much money if they come here and just pass them my card. (Not that they'll let me though...)
