I hate being sick
I have been sick for a few days now. Really congested and some coughing that is getting gradually worse. It took like a week for this cold to really kick in. At first it was just a little congestion for a few days, but now, it's full blown. My head hurts so bad I don't even want to get out of bed. Luckily I have a laptop.
On a better note, I have an interview for a restaurant manager position at Panera Bread next week. Thats exciting. If I got that position, I am sure I would learn a lot and probably make a good amount of money doing so. So wish me luck with that. It won't be the same as working for myself, but at least it will pay.
Tomorrow is my Dad's 50th Birthday party. I gotta go to my mom's and help her prepare and decorate everything for the whole day. It will be nice to spend the day with my mom doing something nice for my dad. Kevin's gonna help too. Neither of us get to spend time really talking to our mom, so hopefully this will help our relationship with her.
The 4 of us decided we are going to build my dad a bar in his new "game" room. My mom bought him a poker table and is turning the garage into this room for him to entertain his friends. I know he'll love it. So it'll be a lot of labor building this, but it'll be worth it. My dad has done a lot for us over the years, it's time we start paying him back.
Well I am off to take another nap. Hopefully I'll feel better for the party tomorrow night.
