Got Me By the Ankle Socks
Here are my 20th pair of socks of 2008, my third Monkey pattern and the first one I am keeping for myself. This is knit out of leftover yarn from the socks I made for
eekm. I am a super tight knitter, I think, because this is the second time I've gotten two whole pairs of socks from a single big skein. I was afraid of running out of yarn, so I made them more anklet socks - the ankle usually has six repeats of the V-shape patterning, and my pair has 3.
I think I am going to cast on something else for my next project. Maybe a lacy-fuzzy shrug. Yarn for the planned projects for the little girl are on their way! And go back to working on a big lace shawl I've abandoned all year. Yeah.
