And Ami was in the lobby, casually sitting, her legs crossed. She looks up at Aqua, a little smirk playing on her lips as she does.

Szayel Aporro slipped into the room quietly, wishing to avoid notice but aware that it was unlikely. His hair, sword and style of dress easily gave him away as someone foreign to this world. Unlike others, he wasn't interested in sharing information, only taking whatever he could learn from those who came to speak. Sure, he could slip in a comment here and there, but the primary objective was to gather information on these people and hopefully their worlds as well.

He took a seat at the table a few feet away from the young woman, folding his hands together. He hoped for a short, productive meeting, but prepared himself for a long and unproductive one anyway, as it was more likely.

Orihime had looked around to check out any Awakened that happened to be there when she entered the room, but upon catching sight of a white uniform her heart almost stopped. Even if she hadn't interacted much with Szayel while she was in Las Noches, if at all, just the sight of someone in that uniform was enough to put her on edge.

She had been under the impression that the Arrancar were all either dead or back in Hueco Mundo. It wasn't really a good feeling to know that one of them was here, too. Especially since both she and Ichigo were powerless at the moment. About the only good part she could think about it was that if he was here, he'd be missing his powers as well.

Even so, she's going to try and stay out of his sight and move around the edges of the room to sit down.

He glanced in her direction and maintained that contact until he was sure she saw him looking, but he made no move to rise from his chair. Each simply knowing the other was there was enough for the time being, and he would be sure to keep tabs on her, closely when he was able.

That definitely wasn't a good feeling.

She looked away, not wanting to maintain eye contact. He knew who she was, that was for sure. But at the moment she didn't know when her powers would come back, if ever, or if she'd be strong enough to take him in a fight with the karate Tatsuki had taught her. It would be best to try and avoid him altogether, as long as he wasn't causing trouble for anyone.

C wandered in eventually, finding a chair and, after a moment's hesitation, sitting down on it. His bare, dirty feet didn't quite touch the ground from the chair he'd chosen, and so he swung them back and forth a little before running out of steam and letting them hang.

The other people here were all Awakened as well, right? With that thought, he curiously looked around. Were there people like this back where he'd come from? Maybe not. And no one he knew was here either.

Slowly he brought a hand to his shoulder as his feet began to swing again.

Ichigo had thought it was a good idea to try and get together; sharing what they all knew in person was a better idea than just talking about it over the network. You could put names to faces that way-or at least memorize faces, in his case-and find out just how many of them were here.

So, with a shrug, he took the large sword off of his back-he was glad that he was starting to get used to Zangetsu's weight-and laid it next to him as he took a seat at a nearby table.

Upon seeing Ichigo, Orihime made her way over and took a seat near him. She eyed Zangetsu with a worried expression; at this point she was afraid he was little more than an oversized paperweight, and if Ichigo got attacked by anyone or anything out there, he'd probably do more harm to himself than any enemies.

"Is he still heavy?"

"He's starting to get a little lighter."

Smiling at her, Ichigo wouldn't have been able to deny that the exact same thoughts had run through his own head-but so far, there wasn't anyone that seemed dangerous, and the monsters he'd heard about seemed to keep to the 'wasteland.'

Still, it hadn't been a good few days. He'd already gotten harassed by some anti-mutant people, although he was a pretty good target for it because of how he looked and the sword he carried. But he was still highly stressed out, nervous, and worried, and it showed even through the fake smile he tried to put up.

As much as Orihime hates seeing him give her that strained smile, she won't question it. He's probably really stressed right now, so she had to do her best to make him feel better. This was the first time she'd been truly on her own with him, without Rukia around to help cheer him up, so everything was up to her.

"I'm glad. Maybe... Maybe you should carry something lighter until he's better, though? Umm... You don't think I should carry something, too, do you? I heard there's lots of criminals and scary wild animals out there."

Darn it, that wasn't as cheerful as she'd intended it to be. Better think quick to make up for it!

"And two-headed cows! They're called Brahmin! Have you seen pictures of them yet?"

Orihime hadn't really noticed the post to the network - she wasn't that good at using her CommLink just yet. Instead, she'd heard about it from Ichigo and figured it would be a good opportunity to meet with some other "Awakened" and see if they could all compare notes. Or maybe even just hear more stories about what they were like in their home worlds.

So with that in mind, she approached Aqua.

"Is this the meeting...?"

"Welcome!"

At this, Ami spoke. Because, really. She hated that Their paths were crossing rather constantly in such a short time. Amusing and slightly irritating.

And that smile she gave Orihime was really anything but welcome.

Oh, it's this girl again. Well, this was awkward. And somewhat frightening - she wasn't still mad about being bumped into in the tram station, was she?

"O-Oh, hi! I don't... I don't think I got your name last time."

No, Ami wasn't mad. Maybe. It was a little deeper than just running into her, the reasons for her decision to not like Orihime. Perhaps, just like her back home, Ami wants to hate, and enjoy toying with this one, as if doing so might get back to Sailor Moon back home, so alike as they were. Maybe even hurt Orihime a little - but just in a small way, nothing so drastic like the fate waiting for Usagi-chan. In the end, after all, this girl wasn't an opponent yet?.

"No, but I've gotten yours since!" Smile smile smile. The benefits of a public network for Ami to stalk troll read and listen to! "Inoue Orihime-chan."
