Summary: After their “fireworks,” Rikku and Kakashi decide that they need to talk. About what, exactly, is yet to be decided.
Rikku was about two screams short from being a nervous wreck. It didn’t matter that she and Kakashi had, well… been together. That didn’t bother her much at all; she was all for the idea of a one-night stand. Sure, she wanted to settle down with the man of her dreams and have tons of children some day, but she was still too young for that. Maybe in a year or two, but seventeen was early, even by her standards, to drop everything and raise a family.
It was more of the fact that she’d said she’d loved him. And oh, she was positive that somewhere during their… activities, she had. And she was pretty darned sure that he’d said it back, or maybe even first. She couldn’t really remember. And yeah, it was all fine and dandy to say it during the throes of passion, but the thing was… she’d meant it then. And, being the confused and sometimes-insecure teenager that she was, she didn’t know if she still meant it now. Therefore, when Kakashi was late, she went from nervous to almost ticked-off so fast that a chocobo would have looked like a snail compared to the transformation of her emotions. Mood swings were a lovely thing to have.
