Tex felt the need to bash her head off a brick wall over and over as soon as he let go. For one- She did not want to be let go. For two- He was a leaning post so she didn't fall. And three- She didn't want to be let go. Well- She was enjoying the hug. She was positive not breathing for the next few minutes of her life wouldn't do anything. Apart from maybe make her face turn a pale blue, but that was it. She looked up at him with a small glare on her face.

"What the hell you doing?!" She snarled, not letting go of him, instead she stayed clinging onto him. She couldn't let go or she would most likely fall and damage herself even more. And again she was enjoying the hug. What did he not want to hug her? Well there was something she didn't expect to wake up to. Thanks Church. His next sentence then made the Freelancer feel a bit more ready to push him out the window and crawl back to bed. Instead she settled with shouting at him.

"ASSHOLE! I was just asking, because not normally you are this glad to see me. Fine. I'll just go back to bed." She pushed herself off him. Wasn't much of a good idea, because she just fell right back into him. "Fuck." She murmured, just staying holding on to him. Fine, she wont do that. She will just stand and wait to see if she was to crawl back or he would at least help to get her back to bed. She gave another small sigh hugging back into him again. She was far to glad to see him to stay mad at him for too long.

"Yeah- I do need something. A fucking hug would be nice. And while your at it, get me a kiss as well." She looked up at him again, there was no glare this time, just a pout. A very childish, very girlie pout. But- none the less a pout.

Church watched as she tried to let go of him and then fell back to his chest. He wanted to badly to baby her, to do everything for her, make a big deal out of it. But then, that wasn't her way. It was highly likely that she would refuse most of his help if he offered too much. Instead he let her cling to him for a second and watched her pout appear. Then, like the knight in almost shining armor that he knew he sometimes could be, he picked her up completely. Once she was off the ground and safely in his arms, he carried her back to bed.

"What am I doing? What are you doing? You probably shouldn't be out of bed yet. I mean, you probably need some rest or something." With that he settled her carefully back into her nest of blankets and pillows. He'd stolen everyone else's bed things for her use while they were all out of the house. Caboose was with Misa, Tucker was with Sister, and Tex needed those things more than the empty beds.

Careful not to disturb the mattress, Church sat down next to Tex. Gently he slide a hand down her cheek before leaning in to kiss her softly. He wasn't used to be so soft with Tex, but she was likely in some sort of fragile regenerative state and he didn't want to hurt her any more than she might already be.

"Better?" He asked as he leaned up from the kiss.

Tex gave out a small scream as he picked her up. Well- She wasn't expecting this, that was for sure. But-Heck, this was only going to happen once every time she got hurt or died. So caring that he was helping was out of the question. Tex gave him small smile when she was in his arms, showing that she was happy with him spoiling her for once. Until it actually got too much, then she will have to start hurting him again.

"Look. I'm just fine, okay? What can't I do anything fucking nice? I'm sure one of those sneak hug things would have been nice surprise. Guess what? I'm not good at being nice. From now on, I'm not even going to try." She snapped back at him. At least she was back to normal, even if she did want to try and be nice for a change. She was sure this method would make Church feel bad and then give her a chance to be nice....Perfect. And if not, there was always kicking him out the bed.

Tex shivered as he stroked her cheek and was stunned that he actually listened to her. Meh- she couldn't complain, he was being sweet. That's all she really wanted right now. Thinking this, she gave a small smile and slightly returned the kiss.

"Much."

SO sorry it took so long, stupid net being out, then turns out our router got fried! DX cobaltspartan13 June 20 2008, 06:03:02 UTC
The tiniest hint of a smile crept to his face as he looked down at her. Tex was back and he was so happy. Happy she was snapping at him, happy she was trying to be cute, happy just to be here. He settled down next to her in the bed, something he hadn't gotten to do since before she was gone... Because snuggling with a dead body, well, he just couldn't do it. But the live Tex? He had no problem getting close to her. He wrapped his arms around her carefully and held on to her.

"Do all the nice things you want... Just, you know, don't let anyone else see. They'd never believe it." He joked before kissing her cheek.

"You said before that when you got back you wanted to talk... I'm here. What's on your mind?" For once he was fully interested in everything she had to day. He wasn't just waiting for her to deliver a plan of action so they could accomplish something. Whatever she wanted to talk about, he was ready to listen and hopefully respond to.

Tex saw his smile and returned it. She was happy to be back, plus there was no-one around to see her caring, mushy, kind, nice side. Made her shudder at the thought any other time. But- She was just glad to see him smile and to see him actually show affection towards her, instead of calling her a bitch. And maybe for once, she was glad she wasn't hurting him. When his arms were wrapped around her, she snuggled into him, making herself comfortable in his arms.

"And if they do see, blame it on the water." Tex mocked, knowing no-one would dare say anything even if they did see. If they didn't want their skull ripped out, I'm sure they would do as she said.

"Uh-...I don't think I had enough time to think that through...Hm...But a question that has been bugging me for a while; Would you ever get married again?" She raised an eyebrow at him, knowing he was going to take that the wrong way. Not that she didn't want to get married...One day....It was just a question she had wanted to ask him since the night of the storm.

Church enjoyed the feel of Tex snuggling into his arms. Even though on a regular basis he played the part of the tough guy, he liked these small soft moments with her. He, of course, would never admit as much to anyone else. But this, the cobalt Spatan, was certain was as close to heaven as he could get with out seeing God himself.

He laughed slightly at her "blame it on the water" comment before things took a bit more serious turn. Married? She wanted to know if he would ever consider getting married again? Well, he hadn't actually made it to the alter in the first place, but close enough... "Married?" The word came out in an almost silent breath as Church consider the question. "I... I don't know. Why?"

Tex smiled, raising a hand and running her fingers over his cheek. It was times like this she never wanted to end. There was nothing wrong with the moment, everything was perfect. They were together without a storm and without anything else to bother them. She gave a small sigh, this time tomorrow she would need to snap out of all of this and become her old, usual self.

"I was just wondering. Just something on my mind." She sighed, she knew he would take it the wrong way. Tex knew that she wrecked his last chance of ever getting married. It wasn't her fault though, she was just more attractive and better than the girl he was going to marry. Church left for her, so she couldn't complain.

He wouldn't have minded living in this moment for a while either. It was pretty nice. Her soft touches, her smile, nothing was better than right now. Sometimes he really liked it when she wasn't calling him an asshole and trying to beat the shit out of him. These calm times were so precious and relaxing.

He could tell by her voice his answer wasn't the one she had been looking for. After being around Tex for so long, he'd finally figured out how to read her somewhat. Snuggling her a little closer, he decided to further this conversation, to see what she was trying to get at.

"What about you? You ever thought about getting married?"

Subject continued[[ The girl that is poor and wants Church's money XD <3 Then they fall in love and then she dies o.o]] [//]

This moment was one of the best feelings she could ever feel. Just being with him, doing nothing but relaxing and talking. It was nicer than the moments she was hurting him and calling him names. But- she would need to return to Earth at one point. Hopefully not soon though.

"What?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at him. Okay- Last time that question ever came up was in a conversation between her and her dad. That never went well, she remembered slamming the door and leaving the house with a scream. "Uh-..." Was all she managed to say, she would have prepared something if she knew the question would have been sent back at her.

lol very interesting. cobaltspartan13 June 23 2008, 09:23:12 UTC
Smiling internally, Church knew he'd asked a question she wasn't ready for. Usually Tex was ready for everything so when he caught her off guard on something like this, he felt rather accomplished. But he knew now wasn't exactly the time to show it, so he kept the smile to himself.

"I've never really thought about it again after I left the first fiancee. I mean I was stuck in Blood Gulch and all, not really a place for a wedding. And then things got a little crazy with O'Malley and all... So I guess I just really haven't thought about it. Why were you wondering?" He knew pulling the question back to himself would put her more at ease even if it meant him being a bit more uncomfortable. It was always at least a little uncomfortable not knowing where Tex's line of questioning was going.

Very indeed. <33 texed June 23 2008, 12:25:22 UTC
"Uhhh huh..." Tex again managed to say, turning herself so she was lying on her back, but still wrapped up in between blankets and Church. She paused for a moment, collecting her thoughts, hopefully to come up with an answer quickly. She knew he was bringing the question back because of her last answer, he was crafty in his own way. But Tex knew him all to well to know what was going on in his mind. She gave a small sigh, making sure not to answer the question straight away and decided, that that answer best be left to later.

"It wouldn't be O'Malley if it wasn't crazy." She mocked, bringing back her very psychotic AI. She was glad that at least, she wouldn't have to put up with him anymore. Sure, she kept hearing is voice now and then, but it was nothing major, she was sure it was just her imagination playing tricks. He wasn't in her head and that was the main thing.

"I..Just was," She peered at him out of the corners of her eyes. "You can't get information out of me that easily." She gave a small laugh, brushing away most of her red hair from her eyes.

Avoid his questions. She was playing hard to get. It was a fun game for the most part, but she was, at times, too good at it. He smiled at her in the most mischievous way.

"Oh yeah? Tough cookie. Well, how can I get information out of you, then?" He was feeling rather playful and if she wanted a game, she would have one. "I don't know if I really have anything to offer you for the information, but you can have whatever I've got, name your price."

Price. Church knew that was Tex's secret word. If she could get something from him, the offer would be come ten times more alluring. He knew she would at least consider the bait and make the game more interesting.

Tex knew she was playing a tough game, this game was always more interesting with Church. He would attempt to get the information from her and she wouldn't budge. With others they just had to name a large amount of money and she would give them the information or she wouldn't give them all the information, that way she would get the money and she would still be one step ahead.

"Oh really?" She said back with a playful tone, turning her body again so she was face to face with him again. Then Church said the magic word. But- Of course she wasn't just about to give in just yet. Even if he said the words that would normally make her break into ridiculous demands, she wasn't going to. Instead she was going to force herself to carry on and see what else she could make him do. Making him name prices was an accomplishment enough, she just wanted to see what else he would offer.

"Price?" She gave a devious smirk. "And what if I don't want anything you have to offer?"
