Rin was happy that she decided to stay here. It reminded her of Fuedal Japan much more than the upper levels had. She was walking home from her work schedule with Marron-nii. Marron-nii had arranged it so she would be able to go home when it was dark. Rin took Safaiikko almost everyday. The dragon was always her companion and her protector. For now, she didn't seem to be riding him, but leading him, without the leash this time.

She passed by the clock tower, and brown hues blinked a bit, noticing that someone was there, and they seemed a bit sad. She didn't suppose they were lost or anything, but she wanted to make sure they were okay. Sesshoumaru really did need to teach her a thing or two about learning to not talk to strangers. Though everyone she met so far were very kind and generous towards her. She didn't think that this person was a bad person, after all he seemed sad.

She wondered what was wrong, and left Safaiikko where he was when she slowly advanced towards the Clock-Tower, while the dragon perched where it was left, without any movement. Its glass eyes stared at its master as she approached the young man. The dragon would strike if she was in trouble. Rin treaded closer to the Clock Tower with each small step. She was close enough to make out the young man's features somewhat.

Not at all! :3 virtualunknown February 27 2008, 04:58:13 UTC
Makubex didn't bother looking up at first. The clock tower was a common meeting place. Probably just someone waiting for another. After a while, though, he glanced up. He noted the dragon, but his eyes remained on the child in front of him.

"A-are you waiting for someone?"

Rin looked at the young man that had asked her if she was waiting for someone. She blinked a bit and gave a small smile at him. She didn't really want to say anything at first, afraid she might be intruding, but she answered the young man's question in a gentle manner.

"Iie," she replied, "I am heading home after helping in the Library," she replied, "Are you okay?" she added.

Makubex did his best to return the smile, although his seemed empty; a carefully practiced mask.

"I'm a little unhappy over some things, but I'll be alright. Thank you."

She could tell the emptiness in it, because she had seen people before, and she had watched them most the time. Everyone and their expressions. She couldn't help but feel something was wrong. Though of course, she was not going to pry at him if he didn't want to tell her. They were strangers of course. Nothing more and nothing less.

"You don't seem alright," she replied softly, keeping her small smile, "you shouldn't be sad. No one deserves to be sad or unhappy," she added.

Makubex's smile softened slightly. This girl... she reminded him of Sakura-chan, just a bit.

"I just learned that a dear friend of mine has gone home," he explained, "I am happy for him, but... I miss him terribly already."

Ah, Rin understood that feeling. She felt that way too when Satoshi had vanished. She didn't think that he was simply missing, and she assumed he was home and safe. Though, Satoshi was one of the first that had been very kind to her, and when he had vanished, she had felt that pain.

"Rin understands. Someone dear to her has gone home too, but she can't stop missing him," she paused looking to the side a bit. Thinking about it made her sad but she didn't show it at all, not one bit, "It's okay to miss someone. I'm sure he knows that you miss him, but I am sure that he wouldn't want you to be sad because he isn't here. He probably wants you to be very happy," she grinned trying to find any way to cheer up this person.

Makubex nodded. Knowing Ginji, this was probably very true.

"Then I suppose I should try to cheer up for him, hm?"

"Hai, for him and your yourself Mister," Rin replied making sure that she said both things. It should be everyone and even if it is two people and one is happy, the other should be too, but she as a child so she didn't really know how to go about it.

"I'll do my best to." Makubex managed a tiny chuckle, his smile seeming a bit more genuine. "I suppose it wouldn't do to worry everyone else because I was sad."

"Hai, they would be worried about you," she giggled, "Gomenasai for my intrustion, My name is Rin," she gave him a bigger grin this time, trying to lighten the mood as well.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Makubex-san, and you're welcome." the smiled with a small bow. She paused for a bit seeing of what seh could to further the good mood, and it came to her mind almost instantly, "Makubex-san, have you ever rode a dragon before?" she inquired.

"Eh...?" Makubex looked over towards the creature. "No, I can't say that I have."

"Would you like to ride Saffaiikko with Rin? When you watch Safaiikko fly up to the clouds and the sky, it's very calming and fun!" the girl questioned and added her own reasonings for it too.

"Well..." Makubex stood, grinning. "It wouldn't hurt to try. Although it'd be best if we don't go too high. I enjoy heights, but I don't do quite as well with flight."
