Who: Muraki and Sasuke
When: Early on Valentine's Day
Where: In the lab and outside of Shinra
Rating: pg-13
Warming: Creepiness, threats, damaged private parts
Summary: Having no use for for Sasuke anymore, Muraki simply lets him go, but not without inflicting some pain upon him first. After all...

Muraki: After creeping and tip-toeing around his co-workers all week, Muraki was finished. From what he had taken, he could make anew. He wasn't certain when, but some time, some day now, he would be able to re-create the boy he had carefully locked in the closet, inside out. How perfect it would be, a test for the limits of this world, a captive beating heart.
At any rate, he had grown tired of keeping the boy prisoner. It was time to set him free. Opening the door to the closet that had been his prison, he blinded the boy with light from his ex ination room. "Wake up." He demanded harshly, waiting for the bound child to comply.

Sasuke: The noise, alone, was enough to wake Sasuke; he'd always been a light sleeper. The light that now shone in irritated him for a moment... but, it didn't take long for his eyes to adapt to it, dialing down the brightness on that particular object. The glare he leveled at Muraki was hateful... and, yet, also a bit bored. He'd been confined to this closet for an indeterminable ount of time, bound beyond his capacity to escape... left with nothing to do, but contemplate another upon whom he would have to inflict his revenge. Granted, the sampling, the experiments, they helped to relieve the tedium, but... well, he preferred being bored.
He said nothing to the doctor, simply waiting for something to be jammed into him... some s ple to be taken, or something else of that nature.

Muraki: Dispassionately, Muraki checked the strength in his arms and legs, testing his ability to fight back, before testing his vital signs, making certain that the boy was healthy. Healthy enough. "Your signs are strong, given the circumstances." He replied quietly, as if this were the most normal of circumstances to find themselves in.

Sasuke: Sasuke's glare didn't waver. "So glad to hear it. How long are you planning on keeping me here?" The question didn't sound angry... which surprised him, a little. It was more... resigned. That was a sad commentary in and of itself...

Muraki: "You can leave, provided you promise not to try to kill me after I remove the catheter." He replid dryly, working on releasing an ankle first. "I'd advise not killing me before I remove it, either."

Sasuke: ...was he joking? Of course he wouldn't attack beforehand... Muraki was no shinobi, but he was skilled enough that Muraki would be in trouble if he tried to fight back with that thing.... inside him. But, after it was removed? ....hn. "...sure. Why not."

Muraki: "Besides, if you kill me," Muraki added coyly, "You'll never get that sword of yours back. I've hidden it. You can return to murder me later." He looked up from the floor, other leg binding untied, "I'll look forward to the game."

Sasuke: That drew a scowl out of the boy; weapons were hardly NECESSARY to a shinobi, but there were situations in which they were infinitely useful. Notably, when one was unable to draw out their chakra. "Where is it?" he growled, voice markedly harsher than before.

Muraki: Muraki tsked. "Don't be silly. I'm not going to tell you until after you are out of my sight. It's unsporting to not at least give a disadvantaged quarry a head start, isn't it?"
He stood, brushing off imagined dust from himself, before working on the third point of the four-point restraint.

Sasuke: Sasuke shrugged slightly, gaze still hard and cold; he hadn't blinked once, not since he'd awoken. "I suppose. 'Disadvantaged' doesn't seem quite harsh enough, though. You'll die, the next time we meet, unless that guard dog stays by your side. And I don't see him around." Really... Muraki preferred to think it was Grimmjow that had defeated him, not this idiot doctor, this scientist. A martial artist, yes, but... still. He was too weak. Far too weak.

Muraki: Muraki laughed at the boy, unimpressed with the boy's words. He had heard it so many times before, and yet... here he still was, doing as he always had, and always would do until the day Tsuzuki (and it could be only him) would snuff his candle forever.
"Don't build yourself up yet. I haven't taken the catheter out."

Sasuke: "I was just stating a fact. You know that the only reason you were able to subdue me was because of that other man's interference. I would have killed you, were you alone... and it would not even have qualified as proper warm-up." Boasts, naturally, but he didn't think they were too far off the mark. Perhaps it was arrogance... or perhaps it was a proper, objective analysis. He didn't know which... and didn't care.

Muraki: Muraki wasn't even listening to the boy any longer, only hearing enough to know that he was not going to pull the thing out gently. He pulled it free after he had undone the last restraint, ripping it from his urethra with a deft flick of the wrist, yanking it out of his pants cleanly, not caring if it bled.

Sasuke: To Sasuke's credit, he didn't scream . Nor did he cry. His face contorted, though, in a look of absolute agony; his teeth ground together so hard, he was amazed that chips of en el didn't fly off. And, then, there was the involuntary, and slightly embarrassing, crossing of his legs...
There would be a bit of blood on his underwear, when he checked later.

Muraki: Muraki didn't wait for the boy to recover, as it would likely be followed by an attack. Instead, he tossed the disgusting thing on the floor to be discarded later, and dragged the boy along the corridor, not caring if he walked or not.
"No one missed you while you were gone." He replied casually.

Sasuke: Sasuke stumbled a few steps, before finding himself unable to walk; instead, he simply curled up into a ball, grimacing in pain. He pretended not to hear the comment, but... it cut deeply. Even... even the one person he'd permitted within his shell. Even Aaron... hadn't cared?
Dammit.

Muraki: Muraki sighed at the behavior, becoming suddenly patient with the boy. He gently lifted the boy up into his arms, strong, given his seemingly unhealthy pallor. "Does this mean you have nowhere to go?" He asked, his tone gentler than before.

Sasuke: Sasuke would have fought back, had he been able... but, he wasn't able, not yet. He simply sneered at Muraki, saying, "Hardly. I never needed others. Whether or not they need me is immaterial."

Muraki: Muraki shook his head. "You can walk?" He asked. "Or should I ask, ' can you get away before one of my colleauges finds you? I seem to be by far the kindest of my lot..."

Sasuke: "...don't pretend to be concerned," he said, squirming a bit. "I can walk." And he wouldn't accept help from this bastard, even if he couldn't.... it was simply inconceivable.

Muraki: Muraki chose not to say anything in response, just taking the boy out to the outside world. As far as patients went, he was certainly not the worst he had ever captured, but teenaged boys bored him, unless they were screaming for him to stop, of course. He entered the elevator, still carrying the child, focusing his attention elsewhere than his tiring arms.

Sasuke: "...I told you that I can walk. Was there a purpose to you asking, or was it simply out of curiosity?" He wanted to be let down. Being carried in such a way was irritating, embarrassing... not something he would have tolerated since around the age of five. He wasn't a child... he shouldn't have to endure this ignominious treatment. Then again... this was more restful. It would only be another minute or so before the pain had subsided enough for him to attack Muraki effectively... so, perhaps it was alright to let himself be carried.

Muraki: Muraki cocked his head to the side at the suggestion, his normally winsome smile a shade on the other side of sinister. "I'm not entirely sure that's wise." He replied. "After all, you may exacerbate the tearing you've suffered recently when I removed the catheter."

Sasuke: A shrug was his only response; Muraki was right, though... he needed to let that wound sit for a bit. If he worsened it... the pain would be excruciating. Mind-altering. It was.... not a good idea.
Hn. Fine, then. This man's judgment would be delayed... temporarily.

Muraki: Muraki could see it in the boy's eyes, see what the boy was thinking, if only because he had seen that s e look in so many pairs of eyes before. The face... he couldn't help but smile a little at it, stepping into the elevator to leave the building.

Sasuke: Sasuke scowled at the doctor's smile; he was being mocked. He just knew it. Fine... let him have his fun, while Muraki was helpless. It wouldn't last. It would end... and, then, so would the doctor's life.

Muraki: Muraki could barely contain his mirth at the boy, as the elevator hummed down to the correct floor. So serious, it was downright comical. So helpless... and yet so determined to fight what was inevitable....

Sasuke: Sasuke shook his head; this was pointless. What was taking so long? He wanted to be rid of this bastard, so he could limp home, lick his wounds (figuratively speaking), and plot Muraki's demise.

Muraki : Once the elevator opened up, Muraki slipped out of the doors and into Purgatorium proper. "Now, You'll need to take extra care to clean yourself after you void your bladder to avoid infection. Abstain from sexual activity for at least two weeks, and refer to another physician once that time is up." He moved to a bench nearby, leaving the child on it to curl up around the tatters of his dignity.

Sasuke : Sasuke turned away, scowling silently; he did, in fact, curl up into a ball, to give the pain a few more minutes to subside. He couldn't do anything particularly high-impact, at the moment... he might even need to ask for help getting home. But... not from Muraki. Anyone but Muraki. At that moment, and ONLY at that moment, even Itachi might have been preferable...

Muraki: Muraki simply shrugged at the boy in his agony, ultimately unable to bring himself to care anymore, and walked back to the building, past where he could easily be reached.

Sasuke: Minutes passed, and the pain lessened... marginally. He needed help. As much as he hated to admit it to himself... he needed help. Slowly, he rose from the bench, and limped over to the nearest terminal. Once there, he hit the voice post button, and slouched onto the ground, speaking loud enough for it to pick up his words.
