When: Valentine's day, or at least close to it.

Warnings: Midna is rather gloomy.
Summary: Midna is feeling depressed about Valentine's day, and goes to the old church to be alone.
The chill of the February morning cast a wind over Midna as she padded, ghost-like through the woods. The princess of shadows only hugged her cloak to her in response, barely noticing it snag on a few branches briefly. Her eyes remained fixed on her destination not to far ahead now through the trees; the abandoned church.
She finally reached the sacred building, pulling the rusted door open and stepping inside, looking around. It truly was an old building, and well-built for still being mostly intact. Midna stepped inside, wood creaking and dust scattering under her bare feet. There was dust everywhere, adding to the haunting aura of the worn-out holy ground. Even the flowers she could see growing barely diminished that aura. A sad smile came on the princess's face, finding a beauty in the church's age and wear.
And if nothing else, here she could be alone. She needed a place away from the busy streets of Purgatorium; a place to think by herself, and to mourn.
She sat on the dusty pew, keeping her head low, taking a moment to savor the haunted peace.
