[Incomplete] - The Major, Kadaj

Jan 24, 2008 00:43

Who: The Major (VastAndInfinite), Kadaj (paramounted)
When: 7PM tonight~
Where: In front of the ShinRa building, to Tifa's cafe
Rating: PG, I think. Could go anywhere, though I doubt NC-17. Kadaj doesn't seem the sort to put out on the first date. :3
Warnings: Probable angst from Kadaj. Possible cursing from the Major.
Summary: Kadaj had his heart broken by Lucrecia, so, at Zack's urging, the Major takes him out on a date to cheer him up~♥

Fussing about one's attire for a date... how stereotypically female could one get? setting aside that there were really only three outfits to choose from... and one of them was her work attire, which was only an outfit in the loosest sense of the word. So... dress uniform, or casual attire? The casual attire showed a fairly reasonable amount of skin, making it appear preferable; after all, she was trying to cheer this guy up. To the average man, what was cheerier than visible cleavage? Very little, that's what. After a moment, though... she decided against it. Yes, it was overtly sexy... and, yes, that would make many guys very happy. The problem was, Zack had said that Kadaj was particularly shy. If her outfit ended up making him feel flustered or something... he might just withdraw, and then she wouldn't be able to help him. Dress uniform it was, then.

She'd visited the bathhouse earlier that day; coincidence, really, though she tried to make it there at least once every two days. It was inconvenient, but... any longer made her feel disgusting. Besides, cleaning was a part of maintenance... and she had to keep herself in as good a form as possible, especially considering diagnostic equipment wasn't exactly available.

The walk to the ShinRa building was neither long nor unfamiliar; though she didn't actually work for them (a situation she was considering changing), she did do a reasonable amount of freelance... consulting. Yes, 'consulting' was the word. Or a word, at least. She made sure that, as she approached the front of the building, her face was graced with the presence of a smile; that, she had no doubt, would help with the first impression.

(OOC: Cut lyrics are from "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria, off their CD Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV: Part One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness)
