Adam approached the riverside, for two reasons really. One, find those rings that had managed to escape the chain he always had on him. Two, he was going to work with Claire some on her sword training. He was thoroughly convinced that she was going to become a smaller version of him. Yes, that would be great, in his mind. More people who thought like him and believed what he did. He pat the sword at his side, and then noted the blond girl at the riverside.

He let his eyes rest on the ground, at least until she would have noticed him, then raised them, a smile on his facial features. "Claire," he said. He wouldn't deny her when he said he would come.

She heard the footsteps before she heard his voice, but didn't look over at him until she heard her name being spoken. "Adam." She was delighted to see that he had showed, and placed her sword back into its sheath. Not able to keep a smile off her face, she walked over to stand directly beside him. "I'm glad you showed up." She was pratically beaming with happiness as she turned her body, arms loosely wrapping around his midsection in a hug.

She pulled away quickly, however, and took a few steps back. "Did you find your rings yet? I looked as I made my way over here, but couldn't find anything." She frowned, her nose wrinkling as she did so. "Sorry."

Adam shook his head and let himself hug her briefly. "Not yet," he said. He stepped back. "But I do intend to look over by the river for a brief few moments. With it being a relatively recent occurrence, than it should be easy to at least locate them." He let his eyes shift a little towards the ground. "Do not apologize. I will be replacing that chain it was on...before long." He stepped back a moment and allowed his eyes to scan over the ground for a few moments.

"You've kept all of them?" She tried to hide the disbelief in her voice, but it was pretty hard to do. While the thought of having ten wedding rings was appealing, just for the shiny diamond factor, she didn't think it'd be very nice to have a constant reminder of what once was.

Looking to the ground herself, she turned away from him and took off walking, eyes scanning for any sign of the rings. She hoped they weren't lost.
