So she needed his help already. Black had a wicked grin as he headed toward the clock tower to meet Elena. She put on such a tough girl act and now she needed him to hide her from one of her friends. He couldn’t help but let out a slight chuckle at the thought. He had read over what Reno had posted from the terminal. Black was a spy, it’s just what

Maybe she could just steal Black's hat again. To keep her head warm and all that. Sure.
She peeked around the side of the building she was hiding behind. Schuldig made her...nervous. He knew too much, could almost always pinpoint her, and that kept her at a rough disadvantage, especially if she was going to win this thing. And while Reno was going to be bullheaded and flashy about it, she was going to be smart.
Which is where Black came in. No on knew their intimate involvement and even she didn't possess the privileged knowledge on where he lived. While she wasn't entirely sure how well Schuldig could work with things, she was going to do whatever she could to at least slow him down, such as being taken to unknown locations while sporting a fashionable little blindfold with people no one knew about on the way there.
She was so wrapped up in looking out that she barely had time to register to look behind her and see who was there. When she heard Black, she sighed a little and let him tie the blindfold, hating to put her wellbeing in anyone else's care.
"Thank you for this."

He spun her around a couple of times once she was blindfolded so she lost her orientation. "Wouldn't want you to be able to give us away by accident." He explained, putting one hand on the small of her back and the other on her arm. Leading her to his place would be easy, it was mostly back alleys and side streets to get there. He wasn't too worried about her being seen.
"Just trust me, I won't let anything happen to you while your blind." He whispered in her ear before starting off in the direction they needed to go. It was hard to believe he was asking someone to trust him, someone he'd only just met days ago. He was a spy, you could almost never trust a spy. Everyone knew that. But he would be true to his word in this situation. No honor in harming a blindfolded woman, after all.

She smirked a little as she was spun; he was thinking ahead, and it made her a little more confident in it. One hand grabbed onto him tight, unnerved slightly that she didn't know what direction she was facing or what the future was going to hold for her. Really, for all she knew, he could walk her to the river and toss her in.
After he took his jacket back, of course.
One hand held itself out. "Hat," she ordered. After all, anyone a mile away would see her blonde hair.

"Hat? You're not keeping it like you think you're keeping the jacket." He sighed as he placed it on her head. She had a point. That hair of hers, as pretty as it was, shined like a beacon. "That's my uniform you're taking piece by piece. I will be taking it back." He told her sternly. The Leader would be so pissed to know he'd even let someone else touch the uniform, let alone wear pieces of it. And now his head was cold, too. Damn it! Women.
"So, you gonna make me wait till we get back to my place to tell me what's going on?" Really, Black was curious as to why the telepath was after her. He had originally thought they were friends.

"Besides, we both know the hat looks better on me."
Her foot caught in a crack in the pavement, and she stumbled awkwardly. Her hands gripped him tighter, trying not to fall or pull him down with her, and when she got her bearings, she was blushing a little under the blindfold. Damn, she hated being helpless.
"I made a bet with him that he couldn't catch me. Everyone wants to keep me 'safe' or something; really, they just want to keep an eye on me. So, I'm evading so I can win."
Reply
"So you came to me to keep an eye on you? Granted, I probably have a very different idea on what 'safe' is when it comes to you and your wellbeing. I'm surprised the tough girl in you didn't try to win this bet alone." He smirked. He knew she didn't like being the damsel in distress any more than he enjoyed being the knight in shining armor. Those weren't their parts in life, at least not in Black's mind.

"Come and take it when you're ready. Same rules apply? Another bet of the same style?"
She sighed a little, lips screwing down into a frown. Walking like this was going to take ages, really. There was a halt to her step, one that let her blindly loop an arm around his neck. "Carry me. It's quicker." She cocked her head to the side about the keeping an eye on comment, and shook her head. "No, I just need a little assistance from an ally. I don't need anyone to keep an eye on me."

He lifted her light frame into his arms, sighing at himself for taking her orders. But he was just as impatient about getting home and out of the streets as she was. For one there was the possibility of more play time. And two, he didn't want to risk them being seen any longer than he had to. Well, at least now he knew she thought of him as an ally, he could exploit that later if he needed to.
"I'm only carrying you because we need to get out of sight as quickly as possible. Don't think this is going to be an everyday thing, princess."
