Shishi had been bored since Reno had been found. Since being hired by Shinra, he was disappointed he had not been able to do much fighitng beyond sparring with Zack once. That had been interesting.
But now the tengu demon had decided to wander around the Shinra building out of curiousity, violet eye glancing around for anything that would provide amusing or the such. He paused though as he passed the kitchen, noticing Rikku. He had no idea what she was doing and he raised one eyebrow.
"What are you doing?" the samurai was blunt with his words as he crossed his arms.
For a couple seconds, she thought that her wish had come true and that her favorite knaycasuhgao had randomly appeared to be her ever-faithful knight in not-so-shining armor. Gippal was officially her new hero, right behind Zack and Lulu. A brief image of the two of them riding through the desert on a hover flashed through her mind, and she grinned carelessly as her swirled eyes slowly slid opened.
Of course, she was wrong.
Her new companion was not Gippal, but in fact someone completely different; someone she had never ever seen before. The elder Al Bhed had just dropped down six spots on the thief's list of awesome people for not answering her mental call for amusement.
"Lying on the floor," she answered, equally as blunt. She wasn't really in the mood to tease or anything; that was most definitely a sign that she was going stir-crazy. After a few moments, she decided to elaborate. "Because I'm bored." Oh yes, the blonde girl was certainly jaded.
"Good enough reason, I suppose," the tengu commented, he was bored enough to understand actually. He didn't feel like heading home to the over dramatic clown at the moment. As much as he and Suzuki were close, a break was good sometimes. But then again, even exploring around the Shinra building had not offered much in the way of something to do either. "I hope it is not this boring all the time in this place," he commented, wondering if she was an employee as well. There was much he was curious about this place as well.
She grinned ruefully, rolling over so that she was on her stomach. The girl propped her elbows up on the ground and rested her chin in her palms, watching him with wide green eyes. She could already tell that he wasn't completely human, and that made him interesting. This place had just gotten a whole lot better; Rikku had always liked interesting people.
"I wouldn't know," she said sweetly. "I've only seen this kitchen, the inside of a few offices, a couple hallways, and the cell they had me in when I first got here." It was a straightforward answer, one she gave in hopes of initiating some sort of conversation to find out more about this stranger. If he was an employee, maybe he could pull some strings and get someone to take her outside for a few hours. It was a long shot, but the girl was a born-and-raised optimist.
