Who: Endrance and Karasu

Summary: Bored of home alone, Endrance goes out to see if there really are flowers where Sasori told him there were. Fortunately, Karasu is out wandering, bored, too.
The demolished building was simple enough to find from the suspicious stranger's directions. Endrance was still uncertain how there could be flowers where he had said there would be, but then things did not follow the usual laws of physics here, and it was not as if he had any other leads. Even if the flowers were dead, they would be better than nothing.
But as he proceeded further and further through the wreckage, Endrance's doubts grew. It was certainly not beyond some of those here to intentionally give him bad directions. In some ways, he would not have been surprised to find tendrils of darkness wrapping around his limbs at any moment.
Shivering, Endrance moved on, wishing to at least see for himself. Down and down he climbed, ignoring the rubble around him beyond finding secure footing on which to proceed. When it became too dark to see, he lit a candle and held it before him, intending not to go much farther.
At last, he found himself in a cavernous space, standing on the three stories of rubble Sasori had told him of. He began to climb down, squinting to see any foliage peeping through the cracks. There was nothing.
There was something.
A sound.
Some inhuman clicking, the scrabbling of multiple legs all around him, stopping suddenly.
Kaoru had never been particularly arachnophobic. But it was difficult to feel otherwise when surrounded by glowing red sets of 8 eyes and segmented legs rising from giant furry bodies. A sword might have made all the difference in the world. Too bad the gods had taken Her away.
Endrance screamed like a woman, dropping the candle in his hysteria, throwing himself into pitch darkness.
