Ever since being killed by Karasu, Kakashi had (for the most part) either stayed put or went to work. There were too many things and people to deal with, and he wanted to close everyone -including Rikku- off so that he could think things through and hopefully sort them out. Other than going out for work and that one time he'd asked Rikku if she'd let him watch her bathe, he was pretty stationary in the junk yard ( ... )

Kunzite picked his way gingerly up the street, his attention roving from side to side with an ease that spoke of one used to watching their back. The Dark Kingdom hadn't exactly been a place where on let down their guard with youma (and the other Shitennou) wanting to move up a few spaces on the ladder. He would stop occasionally, inspecting some of the structures as if searching for something. Architecture wasn't his forte`, but Kunzite suspected that any building that might be a library or something would have a more stately look to it. A shrine would most likely have various decorations or religious symbols about it ( ... )

Tch. Must've gotten careless. Kakashi thought as there was a change in the man's behavior. So much for ninja stealth, but at least he wasn't completely discovered. The ninja stationed himself closer to the ruins, observing that the man had prepared to draw a weapon but actually refrained from doing so.

However, there was no need for Kakashi to attack the man. Remaining in his position, he examined the ruins--he hadn't come across this part of Purgatorium before. Then again, it wasn't like he was well-traveled. He mainly knew the junk yard and his place of work; then there was the river, the beach, places around Rikku's garage, and the clock tower that everyone could see. Oh, yeah--and the hospital, where he'd experienced his absolutely humiliating first death.

Still, his knowledge of the places in Purgatorium was limited. If he was going to follow the man now, he'd have to proceed further with caution.

[OOC; Kakashi will remain non-confrontational unless directly addressed. Otherwise, he'll just be following Kunzite around.]

Kunzite stayed silent for a time, watching and waiting. It was what did best. Finally, he shook his head and stepped back out into what little light managed to reach down here. Even the light had a filthy cast to it, sick and weak to Kunzite's eyes. Taking one last look behind him, Kunzite shook his head. Must have been his imagination ( ... )
