Hasn't posted in forever
Woah whatever, so I post every month or so. Deal with it. Anyways, I'm gonna start on a rant. I saw this commercial last night...It really made me think. If by "think" I mean hate and despise mankind for ever concocting such a travesty of nature. It started as a kid at the library, already crap, and it moved to him asking the woman if they had certain books. She grew a face of diguist, as though the kid was some sort of readioactive mutant and she moved to say "I'm sorry, we no longer have these books". Then the stupid woman asked for his name and he went "What?" in total confusement. He began to leave suspiciously and was stoped by two men. He was doing the "Hey, what's goin on" routine with them and it focuses on the library ladie's sad expression. It then faded to an American flag and the words came up "What if America wasn't America?" and then the word "Freedom" came up. ......I'm gonna let that sink in for a few seconds.......What the hell was that!? Where can I begin to explain the level of shit that is? First off, America IS America! Second, the kid was all "huh?" and confused...acting like it is a normal America, as if he is TOTALLY oblivious to a government change? Why would anyone do that? Obviously altered reality. As well, it is treating as though we are ungrateful jerkoffs that owe it to our government for giving us this country, although they didn't. Our government consists of rich jerks looking to play by strict rules and line their pockets and we owe them nothing. It also plays off an ethnocentric view that Democracy is the only right way of life, as displayed by the men approaching the kid because he wanted books. At any moment I was waiting for someone to jump out and go "Just kidding! We wouldn't ever allow this sort of shit to be on TV! Buy a Jeep!" but no. Apparently the government thinks it is top game in the commercial department and can make us feel guilty about ourselves, so that we'll unite under them and do as they say. It's all a fucking dictatorship in the end. (When you ignore the majority of your country and do only what you feel is right, that's called a dictatorship, just thought George Bush would need to know). Anyways, I witnessed the sole end of human civilization as we know it. Not only I hate it either. My bro turned to me after it and went "What? What's that?" and we had a good old talk about just how dumb that was and why we feel 60% dumber having seen that (Ironically dumb people are easier to control, as shown by the polls representing those that voted for Bush and those who support all he does). I'm probably jut going to raise my blood pressure again and end up killing people if I think about this commercial anymore. I hope people get together and destroy this commercial, and all who had anything to do with it.
