Success
Jake and I went to Brighton Salvation Army yesterday. We came out with 2 pair of maternity jeans for $7. Well, $9, but we had $2 left on a gift card from AT&T, so in the end we only paid $3.50 a pair! I'm so stinkin excited to have more than one pair of pants that actually fit and I can be comfortable in.
Let's face it-- a rubber band around the button of your pants can only help for so long.
My parents are going to ship me a dress Karen wore at New Years in NYC for me to wear to a fancy shindig at Jake's school next Saturday. It's empire-waisted and should flow nicely over the bump. Plus, I really don't have time to go looking for a fancy cocktail dress (we looked yesterday and came up with nothing but a lot of Halloween costumes) and I'm not spending tons of money on a dress I'd probably wear twice.
So it was a good day! :-)
