Anyhow, a Methuselah Tree is traditionally a Bristlecone, and it represents longevity. The Muggles know of one lone grove of Methuselah trees over in the West Country, but the Muggles have made the Methuselah grove Unplottable.

A Methuselah Tree is a tree that was a sappling prior to the Muggle Egyptian pyramids being built. They are rare. They will only mature when a great force of positive energy touches every corner of our earth. And when that happens, they grow enormously fast and tall.

And they can never be killed or die.
