A quidditch related dilemma, a note about Defence lessons, and a caution on chocolates

The 'friendly-feud' between Daphne Greengrass and Tracey Davis progressed from minor annoyance, surpassing headache-inducing irritation and evnetually culminated in the other players threatening to go on strike unless something is done. I was grappling with the horns of this dilemma when a windfall came along and solved the problem for me. During ( Read more... )

I remember that tomorrow is Valentine's Day. I don't think it's possible that I could forget. I'm not very partial to that holiday, I don't think. If you love somebody or whatnot then you shouldn't need a specific day set aside to tell them so. But then again, I enjoy holidays that remind others that I'm deserving owed their love. Are you going to wear a special costume in honour of the day?

Oh pish, Draco, don't be a grouse!!!! YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU ALL YEAR 'ROUND, AND SO DOES EVERYBODY ELSE!!!!

Of course I've a special costume for tomorrow -- it's red, white, pink, and black, with lots of ruffles and buckles!!!! And I've a matching bonnet, as well!!!! Will my costume cheer you up? Or do you need further prompting, hmm?

Well of course I know it.

I'm sure I'll find your costume entertaining and festive. I liked the Victorian bathing costumes, though I feel compelled to point out that it would be alot easier to drown in one of those.

As you should know, for I most certainly do!!!!

I liked the victorian bathing costume, actually. When I went into the prefects' bath, the skirt made a great poufy bubble!!!! It was marvelous!!!! I floated about the bath like a water lily!!!!

Did I mention the tie-on angel wings? Surely I did.

If we go to Santorini again this summer are you going to wear the Victorian bathing costume on the Aspir Paralia? It's very fetching, but I think it would be awfully warm under that Grecian sun.

Angel wings for Valentines Day? I thought they were called cupids?

It is fetching, yes, and truth told, I'd hate to suffer another sunburn like I did last summer. Perhaps the bathing costume would be a good idea? I could always take it off if we were to go into the water, of course!!!!

Angel or Cupid. Do you have a preference?

You just need to remember sunblocking charms. I'll help you to remember.

Angels are genderless slaves to a fickle God and cupids are fat drooling babies. So I'd have to say I prefer a Pansy to an angel or a cupid, if that's all right.

Well, thank you.

That's fine!!!! But would you prefer a Pansy in an angel costume, or a cupid costume?!?!

If you want a bow and arrow, you'll be a cupid, and if you don't want a bow and arrow, you'll be an angel. I personally think a bow and arrow would be fun and useful.

I shall think it over, although it likely doesn't much matter in the long run.

Anyhow, Happy Valentine's Day.

Well, that depends. If you should find yourself wanting to shoot off a few arrows tomorrow, it might matter very much, don't you think?

Happy Valentine's Day Eve?
