Writing on the train again, as has become habit. We arrived a little late to Kings Cross as both Pansy and I had huge amounts of luggage, plus chuckadonna to manage, and when we finally boarded the Hogwart's Express there were no empty cars left except for one way in the back, as far away from the Prefect's car as is possible, it seems. Draco doesn't seem to believe anyone would save him a seat, but there are plenty who would.

He must have missed the car we were sitting in.

Perhaps he was too caught up in the idea of only him being useful and doing everything himself.

I also wonder why their 'amount of luggage' slowed them down. There are servants and spells for that sort of thing.

Perhaps. But some must surely deal with others' expectations of them in the way which suits them best.

It was unpleasant having someone around whom I prefer to avoid. It is bad enough our paths cross in Slytherin hallways, but when it is in the hall outside my room at home as well... it would simply have been better if he had not been there.

Exactly. He was off talking to other people, for a change. He is good at acting polite and interested. Your company is infinitely more pleasing, which is why I should not even bother to think of him anymore. It obviously all worked out for the better in the end, caro mio.
