Fraggit All
So, I've concluded that I can't.. no, I wont have Sari ready in time for Cosfest this Sat. Even if I sat non-stop and made all the rest of the armor and what not over the next two days, I wouldn't have enough time.
Not to mention, after just spending close to $100 on Leader Jetfire... I dont have that much more funds to buy all that foam for the final layers, not if I still want to have money left over for all the upcoming TF stuff.
Just ran out of time... maybe I still could have made it if the tailor had given me the dress on time like they promised, which was the end of May. It wasn't ready for pick up till mid-June, and by then I was already busy with ROTF stuff.
Add to that I really had no one to help me on the day. There was no way I could go to Cosfest alone in that costume and be able to walk around in it and look after stuff at the same time, all by myself. So yeah... forget it...
... And of course choir -would- put the gathering on the same day, but to be honest, I'm not sure I'm all that keen on going. It's all the way in the east, and I just cant work up the energy to go all that way.
EDIT: Problem solved on both ends. Work called, I have to cover shift on Saturday. Decision made for me.
