Yeah, That Was Marvelous...
There's a new Japanese Ice Cream store, called Marvelous Cream, at the junction between City Link and the passage to Suntec City.... I think I've found a new addiction. Yeah, so it was a little expensive at about $5 for a 8ml cup... but hoooooly slag... that was very VERY good!
OMG! Total Bliss! I had one called Chocolate Sienne, which was Belgian Chocolate ice cream mixed with a brownie, chocolate chips and a generous helping of chocolate fudge sauce. Yeah, I got high
What they do here that makes it different from other ice cream places like B&J, is - they put this large scoop of ice cream onto this flat metal plate and flatten it a little. Then they take a brownie and cut it up and put it on top of the ice cream, and add whatever other ingredients that make up the "cream". Then they use these two little spatula-like shovel thingies and thoroughly mix everything up, before scooping it all into a bowl.
And while it sounds very rich and filling, its actually very light and doesnt make you feel sick and bloated later. Definitely coming back to this place to try some of the other flavors.
