Colorado Wilderness | Wednesday Afternoon

Yeah, yeah, Caroline still hated this whole hunting thing. When blood was available for purchase in bag form, she didn't see the point in committing adorable animal murder. Not only were the wee creatures way too cute to die, they didn't taste all that awesome either. Why would she choose to eat ground beef when she could have steak with less work? Maybe if bunnies could donate blood things would be different and Caroline would find them just as tasty as her bagged people.

Okay fine, put it like that and she couldn't deny that she really ought to do what Stefan wanted and get better at hunting. As he liked to point out, who knew when she'd suddenly run out of bags and need to find her own supply?

It was that thought that had her cajoling Jake to accompany her out into the wilds of their temporary Fandom home and getting him to help her learn how to track and murder Thumper without the guilt.

The bag slung over her shoulder was stuffed with cupcake-filled Tupperware, a frisbee, and some other necessities. Maybe her idea of a treat wasn't the greatest idea, but she had leftovers from class and someone was going to enjoy them even if it meant she had to shove them down his throat. Ahem.

Ignore her worry she'd need something to help get the taste of furry creatures out of her mouth.

[NFB! Awaiting the puppy.]
