And she met a boy....
So this weekend was the best thing ever!! My mom and aunt and i had a nice get away to the beautiful city of Troy. haha, i know, not much of a beautiful get away, but it was just great! Well, aside from the big black guy outside our room at 4:30 in the morning, and the fact that the heat in the "executive suit" didn't work.....not very executive. It was nice to get away though. On friday we went to go see hitch, which is the cutest movie ever....even though i had already seen it once. Then saturday was dedicated to shopping for our trip to the keys, which was quite successful. So successful, in fact, that i met the man i want to marry!!! We were on the 2nd floor of Nordstrom's, and he was playing the drums in a band. So we stopped to listen for a minute, and i looked at him and smiled, and he smiled back. And at that moment my heart melt. He was the most gorgeous thing to walk the face of this planet, and with my luck, he is probably married or gay, but if i had my way, he would be my husband!!!! : ) So from that point on, i smiled for the rest of the day. it's corney, i know, but if you saw this man, you would know where i was coming from.
Anyways, i'm glad i got away for the weekend, it was great!!!! And now, we have next weekend, and then a week, and then it's off to the keys!!! i can't wait, i've never been to the keys before. Sad thing is, is i don't care if i do anything exciting, all i want to do is lay in the sun for a week and not have to worry about anything. However, our plane leaves at like 7:30 in the morning on saturday, so linds and i aren't going to go to sleep. So if anyone has any fun plans for friday night, we'll be up for anything!! Maybe i can get some sleep on the plane that way...but probably not.
Tomorrow i get to an accounting thing that i got invited to, so that should be interesting. I'm not sure i really want to do anything involved in accounting, but who knows. So i figured i'd go scope it out and see what it's all about!Who knows, maybe i'll pursue law, just because nobody expects that out of mE!
Anyways, i'm so giddy that i doubt this post is making any sence. So i'm going to crawl into my big comfy bed, and hope i don't have any more dreams about buses crashing down from the sky! : ) Goodnight kids, i hope you all had a splendid weekend!!!!! <3
