Хемингуэй Твиттера

“Somebody said I’m the Ernest Hemingway of 140 characters,” the businessman said at a rally in South Carolina on Friday. Trump said he exhibits tremendous grace under pressure when lambasting his political rivals on the social media network. Imitating the sound of a typewriter, he noted that whenever someone says something bad about him, “bing bing bing - I say something really bad about them.” The GOP primary front-runner added that he understands social media “maybe better than anybody, ever.”

Джимми Киммел на церемонии вручения Оскара:

We’re at the Oscars. The Academy Awards. You’re nominated. You got to come. Your families are nominated. Some of you will get to come up here on this stage tonight and give a speech that the President of the United States will tweet about in ALL CAPS during his 5:00 A.M. bowel movement tomorrow, and I think that’s pretty darn excellent if you ask me.

Но надо сказать, что манера писать в Твиттер одними заглавными буквами (tweet in all caps) для Трампа нехарактерна, и он использовал ее всего несколько раз.

INTELLIGENCE INSIDERS NOW CLAIM THE TRUMP DOSSIER IS "A COMPLETE FRAUD!" @OANN
- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 14, 2017

One America News is a complete joke. It is a tiny network based in a very small office building off a highway outside of San Diego. It has literally no “news” department from which to generate any legitimate original reporting. OANN, which just hired former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, is very clearly attempting to make a name for itself by being the most pro-Trump outlet in the land (which is about as difficult a task as being the most obvious sycophant at an Oscar winner’s post-ceremony party) and nothing they say about him should be taken at face value by anyone. But in this particular case, Trump citing them is even more bizarre and lacking in credibility than it normally would be.

Russia talk is FAKE NEWS put out by the Dems, and played up by the media, in order to mask the big election defeat and the illegal leaks!

The Democrats had to come up with a story as to why they lost the election, and so badly (306), so they made up a story - RUSSIA. Fake news!
- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 16, 2017

Totally made up facts by sleazebag political operatives, both Democrats and Republicans - FAKE NEWS! Russia says nothing exists. Probably...

Чак Тодд, ведущий воскресной программы "Meet the Press" на NBC наблюдает закономерность:

It's a tactic with a pattern. The president's attacks on the media repeatedly have directly followed reporting on Russia. On January 5th, NBC News reported on the intelligence community's report on Russian influence in the election. On January 6th, President-Elect Trump tweeted, "I am asking the chairs of the House and Senate committees to investigate top-secret intelligence shared with NBC prior to me seeing it." On February 13th, 14th, and 15th, news outlets reported on Mr. Trump's ties to Russia. On February 16th, President Trump spent much of a 77-minute news conference attacking the press. On Thursday night, media outlets reported that White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus asked the F.B.I. to publicly discredit a New York Times story on Russia after the F.B.I. deputy director reportedly told him it was overblown. On Friday, the president went after the press.
