S/S Christmas drabble for tanuki_dono. She sent me a Christmas card, and I wrote her a letter with a S/S drabble in return. Then the postage price went up. I decided to type it out instead.
In addition to being the end of the letter, Sincerely P.S. is the title of a GoGoGo Airheart song.

Clank. Rattle. Spinfallcrashshatter. Pick up, clean up. Sigh. Wash.
Subaru put the surviving and re-washed cup back home in its cupboard and lamented the loss of its brothers due to his careless, shaky hands. Somewhere he heard country music, but other than that, the Seals' mansion was quiet and empty, Kamaui, Sorata, and the others having gone Christmas shopping. Subaru declined out of disinterest, as he was never really big on the commercial holiday. However, he was graced with the bizare presence of Christmas spirit when Seishirou dropped by, having gotten on the grounds far too easily for anyone's comfort. Christmas brings out the giving and forgiving spirit in everyone, so Subaru let this, among other things, slide for the moment.
Candy cane in his Christmas stocking? Maybe. Santa down the chimney? Perhaps.
But such reminiscing would have to be put aside until the wee hours of the night. There was a Shepherd's pie in the oven that needed love.
