Here's an update for you, please enjoy.
A few days ago, Carly gave me some old dresses and stuff she'd never worn (never worn literally - the tags were still on them!). I got a cute red, plaid dress that fits like a charm, a gray sweater dress (that one will have to be saved til winter...), and this little floral, flowy dress. The floral dress fit so weird on me. Too tight in the boobs (well that's not surprising) and big everywhere else. So I set out to do what I have become obsessed with doing.
Clothing recons!
I tried to take off the extra fabric around the bottom of the dress (it's a bit longer than I usually like dresses/skirts at) and tried to sew them to the top to make it more covered and what not... didn't really work at all.
So in the end I just scrapped the whole 'fix the dress' idea and make it into a flowy tank top! I think it looks quite cute.
But other than that, I've been busy busy, which is always nice. I don't like being idle during the summer (growing up that's how all my summers were, so I've been very dedicated to making sure I make them fun and not crazy ass boring).
Tomorrow I work all day (11:30-8). And I have those same shifts til Monday, which is when I have class. It works out nicely, I work for four days strait or so... then I have three days off in a row. It's nice to kinda have that, rather than me feeling like I'm at work all day like last summer.
Work at Lamb's is going okay. Makes me too hungry when I ring people up. Though, I haven't gained any weight since starting which is surprising to me. But hey, I'm not complaining.
I work with the weirdest people. I'm so used to pretty girls and gay men... now I work with high schoolers and strait guys. I really feel like the odd one out, but I've made a couple of friends I guess... Nothing too exciting otherwise. Nice to get big paychecks now! It's nice not worrying about money anymore. :)
Time to pluck my eyebrows cause that is fun to do...
