RIP Raymond (Jack) Kutcher.
My grandpa just died this morning. Only my grandma and one of my uncles (he had three boys, two girls) were there at the time of his death.
When I was a junior in high school, they gave him two weeks to live, but he was able to live til just now. He had prostate cancer and leukemia... and he had no treatments! It was amazing how he was able to live over five years like that...
He's the only grandpa I've ever known. I've always been very close to my grandma, so I'm mostly feeling terrible for her... she's going to have a tough time without him. They were very much in love.
I pretty much accepted his death back in high school, so it's not much of a shock... but still I'm very sad. I'm really nervous though, cause his funeral will be the first time I'll see my mom since... quite a while. Two years now, I think?
But yeah. He was a great grandpa and will be missed.
