So, first of all, my new desktop rocks my socks off.
Second of all, Josh transferred to Issaquah. I'm pissed. Not only because he's gone, but because he talked me out of going with him. He's the one that requested to the regional that I go with him! I think he was just feeling lonely and scared. He's gonna take Erica instead so he can train her. He already has two assistants I guess, so I would be closing all the time and I hate that, so it's okay. But already his six phone calls a day make it easier.
*double ring* (for outside calls and calls from other FMs)
Me: This is Katy, how can I help you?
Josh: I miss you.
Me: Awww...then come back.
It wasn't his choice. The director there requested him to come fix her store since it is a pile of crap. Their manager got moved to Redmond, and we are getting Nancy from Redmond. I worked with Nancy at Totem while I was a parcel. I'm sure she'll be great, but I will miss Josh's management style a lot.
Besides, his position wouldn't be very permanent there, and I would be kind of scared to stay there if he had to go somewhere else, only knowing the associates for like 5 months. That would suck so much. So I'm staying. Everyone who heard I was going to go is glad I'm staying, but it's so weird cause I was so ready to go, and now I'm not. It just feels weird. But I'm happy. I like my store and I have a lot more power than most people in my position. I just hope Nancy can realize that. ;) Haha totally kidding.
So yeah, Matthew is watching Mr. Bean and I am contemplating writing my parents a letter. Cause I am a nerd and it's been a long time at summer camp and they haven't heard much from me. :P
