Tomorrow is AUGUST yayayayayya
yayaya another week of school done, just two more to go! I get to go home in just 7 and a half short days YAYAYAYAYAYAY! Angie's roommate Cece was just playing Linkin Park which reminded me how i get to see them live soon, tho it really bothers me that my mom and dad says the tickets haven't arrived at the house yet, WTH! but i've written UPS, and hopefully they'll remedy the situation shortly...it said that i should expect the tickets at least one week b4 the show, so i guess i won't truly panic till Saturday if they're still not at the house grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr LAST time i take charge with buying tickets...TOO much responsibility, i can't handle this kind of pressure hehe
Great America last week was AWESOME...the theme park is like a bizzarro Magic Mountain...they seem to have all the same rides, only with slightly different sounding names...like their Roaring Rapids was called Rip Roaring Rapids hehe they had a bucaneer type ride, only their's goes ALL the way over and hangs upside down for a good 10 seconds...i'm glad we didnt' go on that one hehe ...we actually didn't have time to go on any of the big rollercoasters which was completely my fault b/c i made James do all the spongebob related things...like, for example, see the 3D show which was SO COOOL...the glasses kinda gave me a headache, but the show itself was so good...it was about Spongebob making a Krabby patty, but patrick steals the pickle, so spongebob goes after him so that the pickle can "fulfill it's destiny" hehe but it turns out it wasn't patrick at all, but evil plankton's patrick robot hehe anyhow, it was also a ride, like in the way Star Tours is @ disneyland...kinda violent, my legs were flailing about hehe We also went on the other spongebob ride where u sit in a boatmobile and bubbles fly out of a giant Spongebob in the center...i felt really sick on that one, like a speeded up version of the teacups...too much for me, i must be getting old hehe And I also went APESHIT in the souvenier store...i got a spongebob beachball, snowglobe, mug, flashlight, these cool little figurines u attach to glass or windows, several keychains, one is a notebook, another is a mirror, and one is a coin case thingy...AND THE BEST PART WAS...I GOT TO MEET HIM!!! AND PATRICK! hehe i got my pics taken and everything, i can't wait to get them back....i was the oldest "kid" waiting in line for pictures, but i was so excited, i didn't even feel any shame or embarassment...and james was a really good sport considering he's never even seen the show hehe...we left @ 7 to eat, and he even chose Olive Garden for dinner just b/c he knows i CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THE SALAD hehe so all in all, it was a good day.
Yesterday I saw Pirates again, this time with my friend Jennifer...she hadn't seen it yet, and at the beginning she said "why is Johnny Depp acting gay?" hehe i never thought of him that way, but i guess i can sort of see why she'd think that...anyway, whatever he was doing, it worked for me....he was just as good the second time around...mmm hmm...i hope if they do make a sequel, it is ALL him hehe we went to this fancy restaurant after called Downtown, i'd say, the ONLY nice restaurant in berkeley hehe tho i guess it's b/c one wouldn't imagine college students being able to afford those prices...but i like it b/c they have a guy playing piano, and the atmosphere lets me temporarily forget i'm in the this crapland they call berkeley...anyhow, i only went for the salad cuz i've found it difficult to find salad dressings i like...but most fancy restaurants always have excellent baby green salads with vinagrette...i don't think jen and i were dressed up enough b/c the waiter gave us strange looks, and it also didn't help that she only got a starter for her main course as well and we both only got water, but i was like "omg screw it, we're paying customers" hehe so it all worked out in the end, and we went next store at this gelato place that has every flavor you can think of OMG IT'S SO GOOD THO...we got six scoops and shared it between us b/c it was the best deal and that way we got to try more flavors hehe even tho they seem to let you have unlimited tasters, i saw one girl w/ at least 20 little tester spoons in her hand hehe i guess some people have no shame...after 9 or so testers, i sensed i was driving the man crazy, so finally i had to order hehe we got pinapple, vanilla, cappuccino, after eight (it's a mint), dark chocolate, and spiachianelli or something like that, some italian version of chocolate chip, that was my favorite...they need a gelato place in Valencia, i'm sure it'd do well...and hopefully shorten the neverending lines at coldstones hehe
I have to do a presentation on Tuesday on some reality show i've been watching...i had planned on doing it on the real world, but some stupid girl today did her's on the real world....she totally stepped on my toes and said most of the stuff i had thought of to say, so now i'm basically screwed...PLUS there's some kind of speaker/guest staying in class all next week, who's supposedly an expert on reality shows and has probably written lots of intelligent books on the subject, and i'm gonna be this dumbass up there saying horribly unprofound things like "can u believe how bitchy christina is??" hehe *shudder* this is like my worst nightmare....*sigh* anyway, i hope i can just get through it w/o fainting.
the scale says i've lost 3 lbs. but i SWEAR i feel fatter hehe arg
