Not too much to report, but i'm bored
So, what's new in the life of me, u ask? not terribly much...I'm half way done with my summer school class, officially, so that's good news. I haven't done much of the reading, so I'll force myself to catch up this weekend. Thankfully there isn't a heavy reading load and the four day weekends between each school week is really handy for catching up (even tho i tell myself that every weekend, and i never do hehe but this weekend might just be the one! who knows?) Oh yeh, my teacher's cell phone went off in class yesterday, TWICE, hehe and her ringtone was chickens squawking hehe that was so funny, she was all "i'm blushing" in her cute New Zealand accent (I had thought it was Austrailian, but nope, she's from New Zealand as it turns out.)
I'm going to Paramount's Great America (it's a theme park) with my friend James tomorrow...that should be fun...i hope it's not too hot there though...anyhoo, it'll be nice to go a theme park i've never been to, and one with a SPONGEBOB 3D SHOW OMGOMGOMG!!?!?!?!!)_()_@(#@ hehe my mind boggles @ the idea of all the spongebob goodies they'll sell there...i'm sure i'll buy them out hehe
HOME in two weeks and 14 hours yayayayayya..i can't WAIT...i know i drone on and on about this in every entry, but i seriously miss my car and bathroom and tv to death hehe "Why's it always seem to go, that u don't know what u've got till it's gone..." hehe IT'S SO TRUE !!!! good god hehe
I lost 2 lbs. YAYAYYAYA...i'm progressing slowly, but the point is, i've PROGRESSED hehe and with the new treadmil my dad's purchased for my bro's old room, i should be slim in no time...er, that's the plan anyhow hehe
I'm sort of obsessed with Dido's new song "White Flag"...no no, the lyrics don't mean anything to me...much..hehe but it's just a pretty song is all...i was also obsessed with Beyonce's "crazy in love" for a while there, but i think i've FINALLY had enough of it hehe leave it to the radio to overplay a good song...those BASTARDS! hehe
ok...I guess that's about all I can come up with at the moment hehe yes, i know, it's quite pathetic really...but..OOH one more newsworthy item...I CAN READ hahah j/k...what i mean is, i'm actually reading for FUN these days...Angie, the english major, was making it her life's mission to get me to do some recreational reading, so i finally helped her out and bought a book and wouldn't u know, once i actually started reading past the first few pages, i got into it! yayayay...it's called "Le Divorce" by Diane Johnson...they've made it into a movie coming out August 8th starring Kate Hudson and Naomi Watts...that's how i knew about it...i figured if it was good enough to make into a movie, it must be worth reading...i haven't read a book for fun since i was like 12 and addicted to the Baby Sitter's Club series hehe that's so pathetic,i know, but hopefully after this book will be the start of a new, more bookwormish Mellie :)
I also ordered Felicity Season 2 on dvd and the complete Mr. Bean series on dvd so they'll be waiting for me when i get home yayayayayay it's all very exciting hehe
