Signed the papers this morning to withdraw from the university. Watched the couch that I've slept on countless times (and never had a nightmare on) get dragged out of pinballorama's place. Along with the fridge, the bed, and various other smaller pieces. I guess life is moving on. I'm having a bit of trouble keeping up.

Tonight was a very nice night (and afternoon, I suppose) out on the town with E and pinballorama. We all wanted out of the house, so we headed down to Venice to exchange some shorts that pinball bought, then to visit one of our favorite stores, where they sell crazy jewelry made of old typewriter keys. Since moving, I've discovered that my closest grocery store is the "Hollywood" Vons (at least that's what the sign calls it), located on Virgil and across the street from a very suspicious store/club called Rosemary's Billygoat. When I moved out of my parents' house for the first time it was my freshman year of college, and I was only three hours away. I didn't make the drive home very often, but it was nice knowing that the possibility was there, that I could get to them if I needed to.
