When I worked at Cargo Furniture, we paid some clown $75k or something to come up with a "mission statement." I always felt if the mission wasn't immediately apparent, there's a problem in the company. I felt it was simple, "We sell durable furniture and have great customer service." When I used to work for Cargo Furniture, I worked 6 days a week. Mandatory. I didn't know this when I took the job, but two weeks into my triaining, I was told that company policy was 6 days/48 hours a week.
