I recall this film being shown to me in elementary school in the 1970s. Right down to the Dolores Umbridge type woman who scattered pebbles to trip them up.

Man, skating barefoot does look like a better idea. Until you hit the pavement, I guess. Heh.

They had monkey stores as common parts of strip malls then? cool!

barefoot does make sense, in a surfing sort of way, but they also had such short (yet high-waisted) pants!

I'm a teacher, I read science magazines half-a-century out of date and watch most of my tv a decade or so late. I'm pretty aware of fashion changes.

I was in elementary school and seen this movie and that was in the 70's. I always wondered who were the people in it, so one day i just thought about it and looked it up on wikipedia. Anyways it is cool that it showed up on YouTube.
