political jibberish/ranting
does anyone else have a major problem with the electoral college!?!?!?!?! your vote is completely useless in a state like new york if you are a rep cause ny traditionally votes democrat so ur votes aren't even being heard. oh adn if ur state isnt a battle ground state, the candidates dont even step foot in taht state to campaign...thanks, we know where your priorities are. vote for vote i think kerry would win this year, i really do. however, due to teh electoral college, theres still a huge chance bush will win. oh and lets not forget nader. i'll tell you, a lot of votes are going to nader cause people like neither bush nor kerry, myself included. but again, voting for nader is a waste cause of the electoral college, but then again, so is voting if ur views are opposite those which ur state typically leans towards...pointless...utterly pointless. id vote for nader cause i like neither bush nor kerry, but then id be taking votes away from kerry...oh wait, the electoral college doesnt care about that cause nys is dem. the electoral college was created so that the population would be correctly represented by states, but what's more exact than taking the popular vote? this really bothers me.
oh and people who are like, im a dem so im voting dem. whoa. vote for the person whos gonna do the better job, rep or dem. yeah you may agree with more of the dem's platform, but maybe you wont. use ur damn minds people. don't be sheep. if u dont pick up the paper or watch the news and vote, ur a sheep. baaa.
this country seriously scares me sometimes. how can we be a nation so divided and preach our wonderful ways on everyone when we ourselves need to get our act together? people need to wise up before i throw up on the tv. wait. ::gag:: oops, false alarm. but u get the idea.
oh man, ranting is funnnnn ! work tomorrow at 7am and they better not give me shit cause im in the mood to send shit right back their way. theyre gonna lose cheyenne and jessie, which means heather is leaving (she is anyway tho) and dan just quit and im sure lots of other people are ready to just give in their hats at a moments notice. im leaving there either way, whether its in jan or earlier...dont know what's gonna happen yet. we'll see. maybe i'll get another raise.
lito side note: i love how panera ppl think im some crazy party animal nymphomaniac lol. im such a dork its not even funny. you people just met me at an odd time in my life, but just a little heads up: i read a lot, i use big vocab in regular conversation (which does annoy many), i will correct your incorrect grammar, im going to a female ivy league in jan, i will be a doctor, im a smartypants and a dont believe in being modest about it...cause im damn proud and grateful...oh and dumb people annoy me :)
