where do i start, where do i begin?
Yes, I know it's been a while, no I have no excuses, and no I'm not going to make any for anybody. So nyahhhhh...:P
I've actually been quite damn chipper as of late, well when I'm not working, and even then a couple days..chipper at work....CALL THE PAPERS!!
Basically it's just been work work work work work work work as usual, but hey, makin money, slowly gaining financial security.
But let's see...where do we go from the last update? What has happened in my life worth noting? Hrmm...well, apparently I'm a sap according to a special little lady. But hey, that's not news, we all knew that a while ago.
I went home this past weekend for some much needed R&R (retardation and reminiscing), and I had a damn ball. Friday I got home, and we ordered pizza...strange, I live in a city that is FAMOUS for their pie, and I don't eat it often until I go home and we order pizza hut. what the fuck. "it's a good deal, very rarely do you find such a great package. just don't fuck it up." *my mom AND dad's relationship advice to me relating to Katie* good advice, i shall heed and live by it.Hung out with the folks for a while, then went out with Big T and the Kids Table to Someplace Else for a drag show. Overall a good time, except for that one dude who looked like the bird lady from Kids in the Hall dressed in drag....fucking..frightening. Went and chilled at T's apartment and watched Sleepaway Camp (it's been tooooooooooo long) and made a great vegetarian pizza (MORE PIZZA!!!). Got up in the morning and went home and made my Dad lunch for his birthday. Went to see him at the gallery and hung out for a while and talked about all kinds of stuff. I really do miss having those talks all the time. We can just sit down and shoot the shit about nothing and I always enjoy it.
After lunch, Dad closed up the gallery and we went home. I was there for a little bit and then went out to Katie's for FRANKFEST! 2006. I am proud to say I was the first to arrive and the last to leave. I shut that mutha down! I had a great time just hanging out with Katie, her family, AJ, and Sarajane all day. It was just plain fun. Good, wholesome fun, totally devoid of nonsense...okay..there was a decent amount of nonsense, but come on...her family is fun and her Dad and I get along really well and have the same sense of humor (and taste in beer), so it's bound to happen.
So Katie and her sister Roxy popped my Oregon Trail cherry later that night. I had NEVER played it before, and I didn't have any idea what I was missing out on, until I played. When Jesus Christ travels across the country with The Beatles to Oregon, you tend to enjoy a game and look forward to your next experience. Sadly, all the Beatles died on the trail, Ringo to snakebite, and John,Paul, and George to dehydration. Jesus Christ however, made it proudly to Oregon to seek his fortune.
Next day, I awoke to blueberry pancakes and more fun. I left a little after noonish and already wished it didn't have to end. But luckily for me, I got to go to dinner with my folks at my gran's.
So yeah, That was my weekend, I came back to work Tuesday and have just been kind of living life for now. It's nice to have new people to come home to, oh yeah, we have houseguests, and they'll be here mixing it up for a while, and I'm glad. More on them later.
For now, I'm kinda tired and want to go to bed, so I'm going to. I have to work early. Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm alive and well and quite happy about my situation. So for now, good day!
