What an interesting couple of days. The Clyne concert was everything I had been led to believe it could be. And yes...I did get thrown out...literally. I didn't know that actually happened, but four bouncers picked me up and threw me into the back alley. Apparently, the bouncers of the Southgate house don't appreciate someone trying to get back to the front. It never really escalated above a pushing of a couple of guys. Walked home and wondered what would happen to the credit card I had left at the bar. The night only got worse when Mike and Nick decided to destroy the kitchen. I can't quite describe the feeling of waking up to a puddle of maple syrup on my kitchen floor. Felt like shit the next morning only to have someone tell me I was an asshole the night before because I had the audacity to be in someone's view during a concert. Cry me a fucking river...it wasn't intentional, I was just into the show. Anyway, Nick cleaned up most of the mess (Mike...you owe him big) and went to work. Had dinner at Brio with some old high school friends, which was both tasty and fun. Worked saturday...not much to say really. Went to the Bengal's opener today and tailgated for the first time in my life. As usual, we got drunk and started acting on the ideas that we thought were awful just a few hours before. Amongst the memories: parking Doug's truck on a big pile of gravel, stopping in front of the stadium to build a pyramid out of the beer cans left by a flagpole, filling out a form for Chester Copperpot to get a free towel (and if I meet Chester one day, I will give him his towel), watching some great football, drinking rum and pepsi's with some smuggled booze, throwing an almost empty beer can at Mike and hitting someone's car, threat to beat the crap out of me by said car owner, throwing footballs up and down the thirty foot gravel pile. Finally, a well deserved nap. Gotta go, test tomorrow in virology that I haven't studied for. And for those of you interested...yes, the apartment still smells of maple.
