This week has been SO FREAKING LONG. And it's not over yet.
For you guys. And, technically, me. But I'm off to Iowa tonight. I've talked to all my teachers about it (minus Rathbun and Talley, because choir is a blowoff class and I already know that my pages are going to be done in time)... and all seems relatively well. You know what's super fun? The fact that I'm going to get to bed REALLY late tonight... and the fact that our return flight is monday morning. Early monday morning. Really early. Early enough for me to still be able to get to school on time early. Which means that I will be zombie woman to the max on monday... and don't expect me to look stellar- not that I normally do.
I'm supposed to be packing right now, but guess what?? My suitcase is MIA, so I can't pack. I could get everything into piles and such so that it would take me thrity seconds to just put it all in the bags... but that would be too logical, easy, and productive. So no. I don't feel like it. I don't want to go, but it's too late now.
Pennell was funny after I told him that I wasn't going be at astronomy night tonight (which doesn't look like it'll happen anyways)... I told him I was going to be in Iowa and he asked if I was going to see my brother, I nodded... and then he did the thumbs down. :) So I did a more enthusiastic thumbs down and he laughed. I'm glad that someone else understands.
I watched some of the B-side DVD today, and it totally made my day. Not that the day was going badly, it just made it that much better. See, everyday is a balance for me- I've had a really great day and I can't see it getting worse at dance (it's tap, which rocks)... and then I get to go to Iowa, which is the downside of my day.
And I'm totally off-topic. What I really want to say is that Joe is really amazingly understated in the looks department. All the little teeny-bopper girls are too obsessed with Pete or Patrick to even notice Andy or Joe. I'm not a big fan of long hair, so Andy is kinda mer to me. Not that his lower lip weird piercing thing does much for me either. Although he does seem like a cool guy... all mysterious. But Joe... Joe reminds me of me (in the personality department). He's kind of awkward in conversations and can't seem to get what he wants to say out the right way. I think he's been bullied a bit in the past. All that and he is one of the few males alive that I like blue eyes on. Blue eyes don't normally do much for me... I mean, they used to, but... I guess its my "brown-eyes are understated" opinion shining. Joe just has amazing eyes. I could just die of happiness looking into his eyes. :) Rawr.
Oh! Last night I sold an ad for the newspaper to Dance Boulevard, and it totally covered my ass for at least the minimum requirement in newspaper ($200 is the requirement, the ad was $347... boo and yah). So that's exciting.
I talked to Deulen today about being gone and she totally understood what it's like to be an honors/AP kid stuck in a regular class, which made me really happy. She at least understands how tiring it is for me to be the only person who will start the conversations in class. Literally, I am the one who has to speak first, because everyone else are too pussy to do it. Sarah Anderson sometimes does, but it's mostly me who starts them. And once I get them started, they just keep going until Deulen decides to go onto something else. It's kind of funny. I don't understand it, but then again, I'm sort of fearless about being made fun of for the things I have to say in that class because I know I'm lightyears smarter than most of the people in there.
Umm... so I was going to go start packing about 10 minutes ago. So much for a short entry.
I might be able to get on at my grandparent's house, but don't hold your breath.
:D If nothing else, I'll see all of you cool kids on monday.
