My beloved son, the middle one, just popped back into my life after nearly three years of being out of contact. I am overjoyed that he is safe. He spent the last few months in jail, but it gave him the chance to access mental health care and get diagnosed with clinical depression. I just finished helping dye my daughter's hair magenta. I mean really really magenta. It's a product that is designed for dark hair and while it's still wet, it looks extemely magenta already. This is one of those moments when I am happy to say that I am the parent that I always wanted my parents to be.
