Mmmmmmm leftovers
The best part of a holiday is that there are leftovers if you plan it right. Leftover turkey, stuffing, Brussels sprouts, fruit salad, roasted parsnips, and for them what likes it, roast leg of lamb.
We just had dinner - lovely leftovers, and I had a bowl of fruit salad with eggnog poured over it. Yummmm.
Today was a lovely lazy day. Ru had swim practice at 8 am, but Kev took her so I could sleep in. I picked her up at 10:30 and went to pick up her friend for a playdate. So, they entertained themselves while I got to have some time with Tony to look at stocks. I know, that doesn't sound very lazy day, but I've been trying to find time to spend with him looking at stocks. I ended up choosing a couple of alternative energy funds to invest in. Yeah!
We got to play with the new Wii this afternoon and figure out how it works. We got the basic package and a game called Boom Blox. It's fun, but the damn thing keeps pausing on me and only on me! I don't know what I'm doing, but perhaps its my weird electrical field acting up again.
