Walking in Memphis
Hello all! It's been a while.
The semester is right into full swing, and I've been less busy than I thought I would be. However, I know I shouldn't hold my breath too much, because with my recital coming up really quickly, I know I'll be super busy soon. I'm getting really excited about it, I'm performing 6 solo pieces and two duets with Tony. I have four songs learned and memorized, so that's a pretty good step, right?
I'm going to NEW YORK CITY this weekend and I'm incredibly excited. I get to see RENT on Friday night. FREAKING OUT!!!! (haha)
Next week Mark is coming up to visit for his spring break. He happens to be coming the same weekend as President's Ball, so I'm pretty stoked about that. (P-Ball=formal dinner dance) Things with him are going incredibly well, and I couldn't be happier with that. :)
I didn't get the job at Valleyfair, which is completely ok. I told my boss at the Y that I'm coming back to work daycamp and I get to work with the age group that I want to and the hours I want to! (9-5 with 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders)
