- when i was 19, during first year college, i remember researching a lot on studying abroad in the UK.
for whatever reasons, i just picked this place out of nothing really.
i wanted to go even though i've never stepped foot there before.
there was nothing waiting for me there, but the idea made me happy.
- when i was 12, i wanted to become an architect.
i wasn't particularly into buildings and structures, but that's what i wanted to be.
- when i was 7, i wanted to become a cop.
i wasn't particularly into power, rules, enforcement.. but who didn't think of this when playing cops and robbers?
- when i was 5, i wanted to become a teacher. a kindergarten teacher.
i didn't particularly liked kids, but that's what i wanted to be.
(this was the very first thing i remember wanting to be.)
reflecting upon this list now, i see that there were definitely some underlying influence from a parent, my father.
- when i was 21, i never wanted to become a designer. or an artist.
it was something i knew and was able to absorb, as a commitment to myself.
i am 27, and i just want to be better (not just shooting for average).
to be a positive example.
to decipher what's right and wrong.
to be able to build and structure my life soundly.
from exactly where i am, without looking too far, all of the time.
