Adduser for Mac OS X = dscl + niutil + nicl

For Mac OS X 10.5 aka Leopard,

niutil -appendprop . /groups/admin users yourusernamehere will not work any more as even the command line versions of niutil, netinfo etc are gone. Its dscl, baby.

dscl / -append /Groups/admin GroupMembership yourusernamehere to make your username be added to the Admin ( Read more... )
