Everything is still kicking like crazy here. Pun and his 'package' find themselves in the middle of a cannibalistic hoedown full of beer, blonds, killing blonds, and gator wrangling! The first chance they get they try to bail, but not before Frank getting reacquainted with Earl, this time with a strategy, and relegating him to 'Punished!' status! But there's a lot more crazy hicks around to punish, including Junior, another big unseen figure roaming around the swamp, and that comes around next time!
World War 1, Prohibition, Punishment
I was very surprised and happy to see this today and grabbed it in a heartbeat. A re-imagining of The Punisher in a different decade and completely different world. Instead of Vietnam, Frank Castelione fights for the privilege to be back with his family in the first World War. Things still don't go entirely as planned, but he tries to do good by little Frankie's side and trying to make an honest living. But that also seems to be about to change as he's messing up some goons of the infamous Dutch Schultz! It's mainly an origin story at this point, but I know I'll be grabbing the next issue. The art is great, and hopefully the writing will take this to places.
