American talk show host, and keen F1 fan, David Letterman couldn't allow last
Sunday's moment of ministerial madness at Silverstone to pass by without
comment. Letterman, who has had several F1 drivers on his highly popular show
over the years, including Michael Schumacher, Juan Pablo Montoya and David
Coulthard, came up with a top ten of 'captions' for the image of the kilted
de-frocked priest running down Hanger Straight.
Here's his 'Top Ten'
10: "Isn't this the running of the bulls?"
9: "Okay, maybe I should've just sprung for cable"
8: "Where are all the bloody taxis?"
7: "What great special effects in this movie, you feel like you're right there"
6: "Was it '2 pills every 12 hours' or '12 pills every 2 hours'?"
5: "The race cars are more scared of me than I am of them"
4: "The prix is even grander up close"
3: "I'm an idiot"
2: "So now I know, 13 beers is my limit"
1: "I wonder who'll be speaking at my funeral"
