super-power becca was defeated yesterday around 8:30 pm, when she realized she hadn't eaten enough for dinner and got a serious case of the shakes while trying to draw a series of straight lines. Awesome.
after drawing class i decided to take it easy, chow down on some munchies, and watch some more doctor who (i think i've seen the whole first season now, but netflix says there's another disc coming). i'd definitely say it's grown on me, but i have some major hold-ups concerning daleks (seriously. it almost works if you just close your eyes whenever they're on screen and pretend a scary monster is there instead) and the essentially random nature of the over-arching plot line. a time-traveler travels for kicks and everywhere he goes with his sexy female companion (with whom there is no sexual relationship) he saves earth from imminent alien-related destruction.

feeling generally better about indiana, financial aid, housing matters, field school, and moving (read: the rest of my life). i realized this morning that i was different than i was 6 months ago. i assume for the better.
