I Strongly Suggest This Suggestion

Oh, I hardly feel like anything is important enough to write about anymore. Remember those days when I updated almost daily with non-sensical boredom? Heh... that seems to be long gone.

Anyway, I barely survived my first baseball victory of the season. The weather gods decided to unleash all that is evil upon Wrigley Field. At least most of the game got played. The Cubs sure could use some rainouts right now. It's been an ugly week on the diamonds in this city... meh. In terms of the Cubs, I feel like the turnaround will come. As for the Sox... well, I kinda feel like they might be dead in the water, but you never know.

Otherwise, like is a-OK. Went to see Scott Lucas a couple weekends ago with Becki. Last weekend I went to the Music as a Weapon tour with Sara. We had a great time. In fact, I can't remember having more fun at a show ever. I really need to stay up on the MySpace blogs with these concerts, especially with summer coming. There's just gonna be a ton more. I feel like every summer gets bogged down with major events, but I kinda like it like that.

Tomorrow, the plan is to see Local H. It feels like it's been forever. When I saw them in September, they played a short set at Block Party. I haven't seen a real Local H show since the latest record came out. I'm really excited to hear on some of those songs sound live. I just gotta remind Eric of the plan. Becki is going out to Washington this weekend for a quick family get-together. I don't go through that process until July. I hope she has fun.

All is well in that department. It seems our communication has been improving greatly in recent weeks, and I think it just has to do with a comfort level. It's such a low pressure relationship. We just can chill and relax a whole weekend, and that's fine, or we can go out and do some fun stuff. It's nice... yeah. Although, I can't seem to beat her at mini-golf. This frustrates me! Grr arrrrgh!

Anyway... like I said, I don't think there's anything I'm overly excited to talk about. Go Hawks? Sure, why not! It's all this city can live for right now... oh, and more updates on Drew Peterson. I really need to make a new concert wishlist. Goodnight.
