Sit On My Facebook

In the past 2 weeks, I've become a new man!

OK, not really. But, I did buy a new phone and finally signed up for Facebook, which is mildly addicting. After the initial rush of adding people and checking things out though, I think it's all fine and dandy. I can only poke around so much. The phone wasn't a huge necessity, but I just wanted to do it. I'm not overly excited by what I got, but there also wasn't anything else that really caught my eye. It makes calls, I can text, and take pictures... it's basically what I need. I still need to spend more of my tax refund, mainly on new glasses. We'll see what else I'll splurge on. I've also bought a Blackhawks t-shirt and the new Mastodon and Silversun Pickups CDs in these couple weeks. It's all good.

The summer is looking to be busy, as usual. I have all my ballgames, which one in the bag so far. Deep and I went to the Cubs game last Thursday, but they lost. I tried to go to a Sox game, but that got rained out. Next game is next Wednesday!!! I also have a good chunk of shows coming up this summer, so that should be fun. I'm pretty pleased with the Lollapalooza line-up. There should definitely be enough entertainment to keep me tired and exhilarated over 3 August days.

Things with Becki are good. I think we're really into a groove with each other over the last few weeks, so that's been nice. We've also been bonding overly similar annoyances... haha. It's all good though. We might have some scattered schedules over the next few weekends, but it's all good.

I guess there isn't too much other excitement. Work is work, home is home... y'all know how that is. Wanna hear something crazy? On "Amazing Race" this week, a team got eliminated because one of them had to pee before getting to the finish line. Damn... you cost yourself a chance for $1 million to pee? Shiiiiiit, I would piss my pants. I could buy new ones with that money. Tomorrow is Wednesday. It's Hump Day for me, just like everyone else now. At least my weekly equilibrium isn't thrown off anymore...

Booyakasha!
