...um, hi?

So, can it be noted that I haven't  posted here once since moving into our new apartment last June? Insane.
That tells you the year I've had...or at least it should. It's been ridiculously busy.
I suppose busy is good, though, or at least the "busy" I've been is.
I graduate in May (sort of...I'm taking one summer class to finish up, but I'm walking in May), and I am fighting the norm and not going to grad school. Well, yet anyways... I'm taking some time to do some internships and such. Build a resume. Oh yeah, by the way, I'm becoming a lighting designer now. I don't know if I've mentioned that or not, and I don't feel like re-hashing the past right now. Yeah, so if I do go to grad school it would be for an MFA in Lighting Design (not really using my BA in Math, but whatev...lol It was fun, right?), but to get accepted anywhere worth going I need a legit resume and portfolio.  I just finished my thesis (well the practical part anyways) a few weeks ago. I did the lighting for a show at Pace. I did another show at Pace the following week, and now I am working on two more shows going up in April. Did I mention one of them is off-Broadway? lol I'm doing King Lear off-Broadway in April, and I'm still sort of shitting my pants over it. Our first production meeting was last night, and the team is really cool; all women between 22 and 26, with me being the youngest. It's going to be amazing...I hope. Here's a link to the site:  King Lear I'm also assistant designing another show at Pace in April. I think I'm crazy.
Matt also just booked an off-Broadway show. And he's getting PAID! Although, he doesn't know how much yet...It's a two man show, and he's the lead. He may or may not be doing full-frontal, which is weird, and he may or may not be making out with another man, also kind of weird. Not the act of being gay, just my boyfriend being naked and fake-gay with a full audience of people paying lots of money to watch. Yeah...haha. Either way, it's a paid off-Broadway show, and I'm really proud of him, although slightly jealous that he's being paid and I am not.
Okay, well the extent to which I am procrastinating today is getting ridiculous, so I better go. I am trying to get caught up/ahead on homework on my one day off this week. I am doing a Math take-home exam, a history essay, and hopefully beginning to design King Lear. Fabulous! And I work at 5:00am tomorrow...jealous, I know.
